Stonefix 400 ml. Injection adhesive 2K | for loose-laid and hollow sounding tiles
Stonefix is a professional injection epoxy adhesive on a 2-component basis, suitable for filling/fixing hollow and loose-laid floor and wall tiles, but also suitable for lacquered wooden floors, laminate and PVC floors. This without any chopping and breaking. The double tube should be processed with a caulking gun. Excess material or ‘film’ (haze) on the floor is best removed with an alkaline-based Epoxy Residue Remover.
What are the main properties of Stonefix's injection adhesive 2K?
- The injection adhesive 2K is very strong.
- The injection adhesive 2K will cure after certain time (5 to 8 hours) depending on humidity and ambient temperature.
- The 2K injection adhesive is highly liquid. This means that the injection adhesive will pass through all openings under the tile. The smallest minuscule openings will be filled. You can almost compare it to water, so liquid. - The injection adhesive 2K has great flexibility. It has greater flexibility than the floor tiles themselves.
Storage:
Between 5°C-20°C. Protect from frost.
Processing temperature: at least +5°C.
At low temperature of the Stonefix 2K injection adhesive, it can be warmed up by e.g. placing it for 10 minutes in a bucket with warm water. Always close tightly.
Additionally, always apply the cap in the same way, a to a and b to b, otherwise you will have mixing of the 2-components and it will get stuck.
Usage:
For tiles glued (best is double glued) with tile adhesive, usage is between 1 and 2 litres of injection adhesive per m².
For tiles laid in cement/mortar, usage is between 3-5 litres per m².
Deliverable: tube of 400 ml.
