Repair products for natural stone countertop/worktop
Natural stone has been used in construction, houses and for tombstones since time immemorial. It is a type of stone that originated in nature in different ways.
There are different types of natural stone such as: granite, limestone, bluestone, marble, quartzite, slate etc. Each type has its own properties and based on these, one can use natural stone for a countertop, floor, window sill, wall cladding, tombstone etc.
Natural stone is a strong material, yet there is a possibility of surface damage.
Most damages occur during manufacturing, transport, assembly and during use. These damages, such as pits, broken pieces, nicks, holes, falls and impact damage can be repaired quickly and efficiently with spot repairs and Beltraco's repair products without having to remove the countertop. After the repair, the countertop is immediately ready for use.
We recommend Beltraco Light-curing (LCA) or DUO Curing (2-component and light-curing, DCR) filler for repairing damage to natural stone countertops depending on the size of the damage.
Light-curing filler (LCA) is used for small damages up to 3 cm. but cannot be used for hairline cracks, fissures or through-and-through holes.
DUO curing filler (DCR) can be used regardless of the size and depth of the damage but it is not suitable for hairline cracks.
Both fillers are available in various colours that can be mixed together and have good to very good polishability, even up to high gloss.
