Repair products for damaged bathtub
Repairing minor damage in bathtubs is now a job that can be done by many companies and DIYers. When repairing a bath, the bath does not need to be removed and the problem can be solved on site with spot repair. A bath can be made of acrylic, quaryl, artificial stone/composite or enamelled sheet steel.
Beltraco Benelux's range of sanitary, natural stone and composite stone repair products includes the latest technology in bath repair. Bath repair can be filled, depending on the size of the damage, with a light-curing filler material (LCA) cured with an LED lamp (blue light) or a DUO curing filler (2-component and light-curing, DCR). Afterwards, the damage site should be polished to the correct gloss level.
Damages that usually occur are pits, holes, tears, cracks and chipped pieces. Large cracks, fine scratches and holes more than 3 cm in diameter cannot be repaired with light curing material and can be repaired with the DUO curing filler. Once the bath has been repaired, it can be used again immediately. The filling material does not discolour due to ageing and the repair is almost invisible.
Beltraco Light Cure (LCA) repair kits are available in various standard colours namely:
For acrylic and artificial stone/composite 2 grams: a.o. Transparent, Standard white (Villeroy & Boch), Starwhite, Pergamon grey/white, Pergamon cream/white, Dust grey (RAL 7037), Anthracite grey (RAL 7016), Light grey (RAL 7035), Signal white (RAL 9003), Orange brown (RAL 8023), Clay brown (RAL 8003), Sephia brown (RAL 8014), Ochre brown (RAL 8001), Carrara white, Carrara black and Black.
For enamel: Starwhite 556 and Standard white 1144
With Beltraco Light Cure filler for enamels, the dark carrier material (dark metal) cannot shine through because of the opaque quality of our filler and the higher pigmentation of the colour.
Beltraco Light Cure (LCA) and DUO Cure (DCR) repair kits come with a detailed description and you can see demonstration video on our YouTube channel. A bath made of quaryl, made of acrylic and quartz, should be repaired by well-trained specialists.
Beltraco Benelux can provide you with repair and cleaning products to repair the damage, but also with a repair course/training in Natural Stone, Sanitary & Tiles. Should a damage be too large or complicated, Beltraco Repair Solutions B.V.'s repair specialists can also solve it for you.
Use Beltraco Light-curing repair kits and everything will be Picobello again!
