Repair of Dekton, Silestone and artificial stone countertops

When repairing a kitchen worktop, it is important to know what material a kitchen worktop is made of, as each surface has its own repair solutions.
Dekton® is an ultra-compact surface made of many minerals and Silestone® is a artificial/composite stone top. Artificial/composite stone tops, made quartz or marble to be mixed with a resin, come in many designs and names in the market such as Caesarstone, Diresco, Cosmolite, Evora quartz etc.

What is Dekton®?
Dekton® is a sophisticated blend of more than 20 natural minerals including glass, quartz porcelain and is distributed by Cosentino. Dekton® is produced using the exclusive TSP technology, in which mineral particles are sintered and adhere to each other.
Dekton® surfaces are used for kitchen worktops, bathroom countertops, wall cladding, residential building facades, floors, furniture and shower trays.

What is Silestone®?
Silestone® is a hybrid mineral surface made with HybriQ+ technology (composite). HybriQ+ is an advanced technology developed and patented by Cosentino for the production of the new Silestone. Silestone is a new high-quality mix of premium minerals and recycled materials produced with a sustainable manufacturing process, using 100% recycled water and electrical energy from renewable sources. It is used for countertops, sinks, sinks, shower basins, bathroom furniture, flooring, etc.

Most damages like broken out pieces, scratches, fall and impact damages occur during manufacturing, transportation, installation and during use. These damages can be repaired quickly and efficiently with spot repairs and Beltraco's repair products without having to remove the tabletop. After the repair, the blade is again immediately ready for use.

We recommend Beltraco Light Curing or DUO Curing (2-component and light-curing) filler depending on the size of the damage. Both fillers are available in various colours that can also be mixed with each other and have good to very good polishability, even up to high gloss.

If your knowledge of repairing a Dekton or Silestone countertop is insufficient or the repair is too extensive, Beltraco Repair Solutions B.V.'s repair specialists are here to solve this for you. Our specialists hold the VCA certificate.Alternatively, your employees can take a repair course/training in Natural Stone, Sanitary & Tiles with us to master the repair techniques.
