Repairing floor and wall tiles
Repairing a damaged floor or wall tile? With one of our ceramic repair kits, you can repair floor or wall tiles without any cutting and breaking!
It happens to everyone that something falls on a tile and breaks a piece or leaves a crack, but you can also repair wrongly drilled holes. We have three types of filler for repairing floor and wall tiles: Ceramic Filler, Beltraco Light Curing (LCA) and Self-DUO Curing (2-component and light-curing, DCR).
Ceramic Filler is a natural wax to which stone dust has been added and which has to be melted with a Melting Tool to repair a tile. The repair kits contain all the materials needed to carry out a repair professionally. To finish/seal (protect) the repaired area, a Brush Pen Clear Lacquer clear is included. The colours can be inter-mixed with each other. Ceramic Filler is also available as a separate series box.
Beltraco Light-curing repair kits are repair kits with a light-curing acrylic filler, affiliated with dental technology, that cures by means of LED light (blue light). Floor tiles can be repaired using this unique method. Beltraco Light Curing (LCA) for ceramics is ideally suited to repair minor damage up to 3 cm. such as scratches, holes, fall/impact damage and edge damage to floor tiles. Note: not suitable for hairline cracks, fissures or through-and-through holes.
DUO curing filler (DCR) is a filler with a unique composition. It is a self-curing filler (2-components) which can be simultaneously cured with blue light (LCA). Nanoparticles have also been added to the filler so that it has a finer structure and is easier to polish. Using blue light makes curing faster. DUO curing filler (DCR) is for quick and permanent repair of holes, cracks (not suitable for hairline cracks), chips/broken-out pieces in ceramics. The size and depth of the damage is irrelevant.
Repairing a floor and wall tile is easy and fast to do by you. The floor tile can be used again immediately after repair, so no cutting and breaking of your tile.
