Parquet/laminate flooring repair products
We all recognise it: At first, everything looks great, but after a short time they are suddenly there - fine scratches, holes from knots, scuffs, dents, discolouration, holes, fall/impact damage in parquet or laminate flooring.
Repairing minor damages in parquet and laminate is nowadays a job suitable for the DIYer, the floor specialist or in case of difficult problems/large damages specialised repair companies. The damaged surface should be dry, grease-free and clean before starting a repair.
Before starting to repair the parquet floor, you need to know how the floor has been finished because the floor needs to be finished with the correct post-treatment lacquer, wax/oil or hard wax oil after the repair.
When repairing laminate, we assume that the top layer has been lacquered. The colours of the filler Hardwax PLUS can be mixed with each other so that you can mix the right colour yourself. The repair is completed by applying a film of lacquer to make the laminate floor resistant again to moisture and dirt. After repairing the parquet/laminate, it can be used again immediately. Filling knots can be done using Knottec 7713 knot filler, which is a polyamide hot melt adhesive that has to be melted and inserted with a glue gun.
For removing shoe marks on the floor or strong soiling, Beltraco has the Foamy cleaning cloth in its range. This should be used with water only.
