Tecbond 1942
Tecbond 1942 is a packaging and woodworking EVA adhesive designed for wood and many plastics, nylon, ABS and rigid PVC. It is also suitable for use on ceramics such as tile displays and other materials with smooth, shiny surfaces such as melamine and light gauge metals. Due to the natural materials in this product, it is sometimes useful to reduce the temperature of the glue gun to 180°C to prevent excessive dripping.
It is suitable for bonding the following surfaces ABS, acrylic, formwork, cladding, foam, glass, glass fibre, hardwood, ceramic, leather, melamine, nylon, paper, polystyrene, prints, hard PVC, rubber, chipboard, steel and soft wood.
Hot melt adhesives are suitable for certain surfaces but then it often depends on the surface production method (injection moulding, extrusion, etc.) and the surface texture.
You should test out the hot melt adhesive beforehand.
